Every year there is
a vast outpouring of management books, far to many for any one person to
read. Fortunately the majority of them have little merit! The problem, however,
is how to sort the wheat from the chaff.
I regularly review management books for the Booz Allen & Hamilton
magazine Strategy+Business, where we try to cover some of them that might
be helpful to practicing managers. We pick those that are clearly written
and help executives to frame their organizations' issues. This section
has a selection of these short reviews. For a larger choice go to the
Strategy+Business website (http://www.strategy-business.com/)
